cTrader trading journal: your trades log themselves

Nobody exports their cTrader history every evening for more than a week. A cBot does it for you, the second you close a position.

You trade on cTrader with IC Markets, Pepperstone or FxPro. You know a journal would help. And every evening, the same chore: History tab, right click, Export to CSV, import. After a week, you stop. It's not a lack of willpower, it's one step of friction too many.

The problem with hand-filled journals

A hand-filled journal has two flaws. It's incomplete: the days you traded badly are exactly the days you don't feel like logging. And it's late: you review your day in the evening, once the emotion has faded and you've already told yourself a friendlier version.

Syncing with a cBot

TradeDiscipline provides a cBot you install once in cTrader. From then on, every closed position is sent to your journal within a second: symbol, side, volume, entry and exit prices, times, commission and net P&L. You never export anything again.

In practice:

  1. Get your token in Settings, Sync section.
  2. Install the cBot in cTrader and paste your token into its parameters.
  3. Leave it running on a chart. That's it.

The same token works for MetaTrader and NinjaTrader: one key for all your platforms.

What it really changes

The day you fire off three trades after a loss, they're in your journal before you've even closed the platform. Your discipline score is up to date, and the coach can tell you your size doubled since the last loss. The journal comes to you, not the other way round.

Automatic sync is included in the Plus and Premium plans. Prefer to start with a file? cTrader CSV import works on every plan. Create your free account.
